Access to common balconies overlooking San Zaccaria church, large bathroom with towel warming racks, excellent proximity to San Marco and San Zaccaria water bus stop
Lack of reception on-site creates confusion for check-in!!! Communication about cash payments for transfers could be clearer!!! Basic amenities like tea, coffee, and daily bottled water missing!!!

We stayed in a queen room with free wireless internet, a flat-screen TV, and a safe box. The location was marvellous, at a short distance from Art Gallery Bugno. The property was set in a busy area.

Staff was very welcoming and helpful, room was very nice and homey, and the location couldn't have been better in my opinion.
The people working in the restaurant weren't very nice, especially the old lady. Breakfast was also very dissapointing, I had to stick to bread and butter.

The hotel room itself was spacious and comfortable, but
The lack of black-out blinds made it hard to sleep in. The location is wonderful, with easy access to major attractions, and the staff was very friendly and eager to help with recommendations.

Everything was simply spotless. Sincerely, it was a comfortable stay on this visit. The location in a nice enough area was great and unbeatable and there were shops and several stores nearby. Breakfast was great, room was elegant. The fine and charming staff members provided a few recommendations.

Very convenient, modest price out of season, nice rooms but not large, airconditioning worked.
Internet very poor, broken for two days, intermittent most of the time, poor signal strength, constant need to login. Should be addressed, internet is now as important as food and water and should be included in the charge for the room. Facilities modest.

Its location - it is out of the main centre but right next to the main water transport pick up point. We stayed at a room at the 'back Hotel', not facing the canals, and it was quite - when you walk out of this back Hotel, you just to turn right into a little square with a small church from your lobby and walk about 15 meters right into the main hotel lobby for breakfast. Enjoyed the breakfasts - bacon, eggs toast, sweet things, fruits, yogurts and juices.
Aircon did not work the first night and humidity is high in Venecia but they fixed it immediatly the next morning.

great space but could use a few improvements
The family room was spacious with comfortable beds for everyone. The central location felt okay all time for our teens. The view was good.
The overall amenities could be better. We had expected more from the facilities available.

The location was ideal and the staff, Hans and Tomas, were very friendly and helpful and could not do enough for us.

A really lovely old hotel, we had a room that looked on to the square. The quietest room we have ever stayed in (apart from the 6pm chimes!). Full of character , Venetian decor , walking distance to everything. Would definitely use again.
No it is an old hotel but to find fault for the sake of it would be very picky indeed, though that doesn't seem to stop some people I notice!

The fireworks over St Mark's Basin were lovely. The hotel had a great breakfast selection and friendly staff. The location is just perfect for exploring. I'd recommend checking the dining options nearby, too, for a taste of the local cuisine!
We did experience some issues with a smaller room than expected, a bit disappointing considering the photos online.

Great location - no bridges to carry suitcases once leaving vaporetto at St Marks stop. Large room by Venice standards and decent breakfast.

The hotel was of a very high standard particularly as we got up-graded to the Savoy Yolanda hotel. The views were fantastic and the service great. I would recommend it. It is very close to the water bus stop as well and is central to all main sites of the city.
